顔と衛星から見る溶けだす氷河のミクスチャー。
このミクスチャーイメージより、人間の存在しないno man’s landに挑む人間の死への危機と、人間が住む地球の環境問題への危機の間にみえる不思議な二重性を表している。崩壊しつつある政治、環境、そして人間関係の悲観な姿が浮き彫りになった作品。
A mixture between faces and a melting glacier (pictures coming from satellite images), It recalls the strange duality between the danger of death for the human who ventures in a no man's land area and the danger of death for the environment where human settles down. A pessimistic vision of human association, political and ecological, where man kind loses for sure.

あざのようなマークがシンボルとなるこのシリーズでは、日本の国旗の日の丸が、記憶を喚起するために顔の一部としてあらわれる。
これは、新しい文化に出会った時に経験するアイデンティティーの変成。
新しい文化への記憶、そして自国への新たな発見を意味するマークでもある。
このシリーズは、作家自らの日本での体験を記憶の点として表している作品でもある。
Like a mark, a bruise, this series plays with the red circle of the Japanese flag in order to recall the memory. It shows the metamorphosis of identity on the meeting of a new culture. We do not leave the same of a visited country.
It is as well from a foreign country that we discover best our own country.
This series translate the indelible mark left by Japanese culture in my own culture.
CARD INSTALLATION
544 passport format cards (silkscreen printed) stuck on the wall, size 300x200cm
パスポートサイズの日本とフランスの国旗で構成された無数のカードが壁一面を覆う。２つの国の国旗のミクスチャーによるレイアウトは、まさに想像の国をコラージュする作品。また、国旗で埋め尽くされた壁は、ベルリンの壁のような政治的な分立を想起させる。
カードの中面にはシルバーの顔が描かれており、見る角度によってはドローイングが幾重にも重なって見え、また、国旗にシルバーの光沢が映り込み、光のエフェクトが見られる。
観客は壁に沿って歩く時、この国旗の裏に隠された「顔」を発見し、移動や通過といった行為を通して成立する二重体験となっている。
A no man's land is translated by a multitude of passport's format cards, printed front sides with French and Japanese flags colors. Stuck with each other, their mixture gives a coding of both flags, an imaginary land, in which a maze can be read. This wall made of cards recalls the political separation of the two spaces (eg Berlin's wall)
On the back side of those, silver faces come to cover the wall as well.
The folding of the cards creates a double picture according to the point of view.
The silver glitters tint with the color of the flags' reflection.
It is walking along side the wall that the faces, that were separated by the flags, are discovered .
A two times reading through movement that slides us from political view to a human one.
